What began as a quiet pause became a period of reflection, rebuilding, and reimagining. Now, with the support of significant private funding, Winterfall steps back into the light.

About Winterfall
Winterfall Theatre Company is an independent live theatre company in Melbourne, returning to the stage in 2026.
Founded in 2010, Winterfall quickly established itself as a respected name in independent theatre, producing bold and critically recognised work.
Winterfall had its own home at The Theatre Husk, a revamped warehouse in Northcote. Winterfall produced 12 seasons of work by celebrated playwrights, including two Australian premieres and 2 return seasons.
After a ten-year hiatus, Winterfall is now returning with renewed momentum.
Backed by significant private funding, the company will recommence live theatre productions in Melbourne in the second half of 2026.
At the heart of Winterfall is a lifelong commitment to storytelling and performance.

My name is Michele Williams.
I am a Melbourne based actor.
I would love for you to read about Winterfall Theatre, one of my life’s greatest passions, through the information on this website! I have obtained significant funding from an anonymous donor and am excited to start Winterfall Theatre shows again.
